Im doin a full V&H exhaust on my buddy's '78 GS 750, the problem is.. is that Factory pro doesnt make a jet kit and Dyno jet only goes back to 80.

My question is, has anyone jetted that bike with a stage 3? If so what jets and settings did you run?

i'd be interested to see some answers for this too. I'm going to jet my buddies 81 gs750 chopper with pods and a custom exhaust

Dyno jet has a kit for that year.. $130

or 96 +10 shipping on ebay. but what do you get in the kit? mains, pilots, needles and instructions? i can get the mains and pilots cheaper, just have to find a needle that would work

Not 100% sure man.. I dont deal with Dyno jet too much. From what i hear all you get is a bunch of main's thats it. idk

I know about that site cuz I got (gave to my old man) a 79-80 suzuki gs550e, learned a lot getting that bike running and the gs site helped out a lot.

umm, if that motor isnt too finiky.... you can raise the needles with some washers, and just buy new mains, and pilots if you need it, i didnt need new pilots on my bike with a straight pipe and no airbox....
