it now has a gs 1100 aluminium swing arm ,but want to use possible a gsxr rear swing are to run bigger wheel with modern rubber anyone done on or have suggestions ?

You should be able to run a 17x5.5” rim in the 1100 swing with the right parts combo. It’s been done loads before. Unless you’re set on going for a newer swingarm for some other reason.
