Picked this up just recently. It was sitting in a garage for the last 12 years or so. My incarserated uncle, took the carbs apart and fucked them up. He never got it running again and now I have it.
It has 5,000 miles on it and a bit of rust, but I'll mess with it.
I already started stripping it down and getting some idia's. I'll post up some more pics later. I've had like 5 or 6 of these in the last 20 years or so and I'm still fond of them. arty-smiley:

I'm thinkin about taking the seat and making one seat and tail piece almost the shape it's in. Leaving the tire to look like it does. I'm gonna use the pod filters, paint the case covers and flat black anything that doesn't shine up. I want to find some better shocks. Dunno what else.

I got some time. I have to save to get the carbs straight.

Hey thanks for askin scrappy !!!
I stalled on it waiting for a bud to help me with the rack of carbs. the guy who had it, fucked them up. I picked up a new rack at the junk yard and am awaiting, my buddy's help with it. I chopped the tail and I'm gonna form the banana seat the shape i want the tail and just use the seat as the tail piece also. I took all the highway bars and engine case covers off. I want to finish it up, The engine only had 5,000 miles. I'm gonna paint the stock wheels, and go from there. I had a bandit front and and old gixxer front ends, But I may leave the stock set up there.
This is gonna be a cheep ass build here. 0 dollars spent if possible.
I am tryin to get ALOT of fit and finish work done on the bandit and chamelion for the fighter fest !!!

Right on. Yeah I know how that goes. Multiple projects, something gets pushed to the back burner, lol. I like the idea of doing a formed seat. I like that look. Makes the bodywork that much cleaner and easier. Don't let it collect too much dust. Sounds like a cool cheapfighter project.
