i just picked up my 929 and its blows blue smoke out the exhaust,when i start it,it runs alittle rought so i crack it and it blow blue smoke out the exhaust :wtf: help me here guys i dont know hondas:cfrocks:

uh oh... blue smoke isn't good... it generally means oil is getting into the combustion chamber and burning with the air/fuel mixture. Have you done any work to the top end lately?
A compression test will help tell you what type of condition the engine is in.

If it still runs ok but theres a little blue smoke when you wack the throttle its the oil seals, OR the oil rings on the pistons (Ive seen just those go before).. If it smokes and runs like shit then the head gasket is on its way or gone (burn's oil, water, loss of compression).
Gotta pull each valve out one by one and replace the seals.. its not that hard to so, I did mine in about 40 minutes with the head off..

my stunter blew some blue smoke after i flipped it. its still out of the bike tho. so i think if its gonna go back in the frame, im gonna have to open her up first.The Green Lantern said:

-i took it out today for a quicky cause theres snow on the streets and it seems like a torquey bike i like it except for fucking rock hard seat thats shitty im gunna be gettin a corbin soon i dont know what i like more the 929 or the rc51,but one of them is definatly gettin sold soon. i can see the appeal of the 929, whats the biggest differnece between the 929 and the 954? besides a bit power?
