so i WAS gonna update my thread tonite. as im basically done tearing the bike apart.

i need to figure out some performance mods for this thing. . . its got no low end and is waaaay too loud. its a two stroke, but theres no expansion chamber on the exhaust. i thought 2strokes need that to run properly??

im thinking of throwing a new sprocket on there and possibly a new rear shock..because that thing has TOPS 2" of travel. which kind of sux.

well i pulled off the 'chrome' plastic plates and threw em in the recycling bin. pulled the motor and rear end.



this thing has basically NO rear suspension!

Ya know what you should do? There's really not much room to work with there for making a better suspension....

...so... how about suspended the seat like old-people bicycles? Basically, we weld on a fancy spring-mounted bracket to attach the seat too, so the suspensions in the seat! (a little crazy, but it might just work on something this small....)

well i had the angle grinder out the other day, but got interrupted. so im halfway done cutting the 'sub' - frame. next up will be some welding. and comparing forks with some dirtbike forks... thinking xr 50 or somthing of the like.

im gonna try and get that part done this week. then start sanding the frame so i can paint that bitch.

i wonder if it would fit in the sand blaster at work..hmmm. . lunch break projects?!

looks like this things not getting a front end swap. so i went to drill the tripple for the dirtbars the other day and the stem nut is huge. so im gonna have to get some risers for it.
