I have a gent with an ‘89 GL1500 GW that I changed filters, tires and a few other things on. Those are huge bikes. Now I have a second person wanting me to do tires and a carb clean on their ‘90 GW. I have a lift but am afraid to even raise it up with one on it.

BTW, good luck with the clutch repair. That doesn’t sound like any fun.

Later, Doug

I used to work with a doc who rode a GW to work when the weather was nice.

One day he came in on crutches with a short leg cast. I thought maybe he went down.

He told me he was backing it out of the garage, lost control, and it fell- pinning him under the bike and breaking his ankle. He said he had to scream for help from the neighbors, and it took 3 dudes to get the bike off him.

Watch out, ROBBO!
