Have you ever wished that you could bin the standard mirror fitments that spoil the clean line of the front of your fighter.

Well the answer could be here. The Reevu Helmet has fitted what can only be described as a rear facing periscope (noooo not like a fkn submarine stupido lol) and mebbe coupled with some neat mini-bar end mirrors could provide the answer.

Check out these links:

The first one shows the product with a short review article

http://www.webbikeworld.com/r2/motorcycle-helmet/reevu/

And this one shows a riders eye view from inside the lid.

Wild 'n Wacky? Or is this a move to the future, whaddya think Guys...

I imagine in the beginning you probably slam on the brakes more than once because you think a car is coming straight at you... but once you get used to it its probably not so bad

a great product if your too lazy to turn your head
Well jesseunvoas man you still gotta turn your head, like countersteering turn slightly to the right to see a wider piture of the back left and v-versa.. yes?

Alberta, If you look on the review site there is a dollar price quoted i believe.

Hey guys just imagine if this thing proves good...Jeez it's almost like the pilots head-up display in a fighter plane.

Anybody got any spare bucks to give it a CF member review, would that be an idea AB and Adam?

we'd love to have member reviews of products. we'd even have a special section if people did enough of them.

we planned to originally but we dont currently have the cash to be getting products to review them. if anyone wanted to help out with that (doing reviews) be sure to let us know.

Well I suppose thats basically what we do on here anyway.

Like if we found something really cool and actually parted with our hard earned cash to get hold of it, and then found it to be a fkn ace piece of kit to get a benefit off, I'm sure we would all want to share that info/experience with our friends anyway wouldn't we?

The only thing is, most of us not being journo's we might make a pigs ear of the presentation and then feel stupid if we got a bad raggin for lousy grammar etc.

But fuck it! I'll have a go. I just spent a whole load of money on my Suzi and two things I want to tell you mainly about, won't live under the title of this thread.

It will be posted soon in the performance section and will involve the fitting of a slipper clutch and an A.T.R.E.
------------------------------------------------------------------
(Instant translation) A.T.R.E.= Device to remove the gadget fitted to stop No0bs being smatcked in the teeth by triple trees 'n guages.. otherwise Road Illegal device that negates Emission laws.
Sipper Clutch= Excellent means to tame a rear end that wags like an excited dog when you overcook the entry to a bend...Otherwise Last minute saviour and transmission + tire life angel.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
I'll keep it all short and sweet and sorta shoot from the hip with anything I'll write about the benefit/value for money and "Feel-Good" factor I got for my cash.

So look out for an opportuntity to rip BB to bitz Bastardettes :LolLolLolLol:

I've been in contact with those guys for nearly two years now and STILL no release date for the US. I was told it would retail around $399 if it ever made it here. They seem to be having problems getting DOT and SNELL approval. Oh well...I went with another helmet.
