Yeah, amazing what a difference a shortened seat and tail unit makes...
And it's actually orange, and not that odd pinky colour that the pic above shows...
The plan is to fit a headlight (I have a spare Z650 one in a drawer somewhere), get it fired up and run it on the odd occasion through the summer, and then take a closer look at it next winter...

is the collector as low as it looks?

Slightly deceptive photograph, about as low as a Harris pipe. So, yes, low!
I do have a spare 4-into-1 system that was half intended for my GPz750, which has a Harris fitted, so there may be a bit of pipe swapping involved, or I may modify the one that is on now to look more like a Harris with a dumpy end can.

Actually, I've just had another look, it's nowhere near as low slung as a Harris...

Going by the wheel and rotor design, either a Katana (Tea-pot) or Bandit 600.

The calipers are different to Bandit ones, so I'm thinking it's Teapot...
