After searching for days for a oem 7" headlight at a reasonable price and not finding any, i think i may go the cheaper generic route but want to see if anyone actually has run them for a couple years and how they have held up? cracks? yellowing? etc etc

This is the stuff im talking about

My budget is probably $100 including shipping to Sydney Australia
Next closest is the aztec8 light (or the kit)
keen to hear peoples experiences
Cheers

I've got a 7" and this'll be my 2nd season riding it .. It fits the look but I wish there'd be projectors or HID inside instead of the regular H4. No other complaints. Oh wait... of course, last season I had the H4 bulb off my old headlight (yes, the fuggin 1989 original) and this year I bought a new Philips UltraVision one so I think the light output is
no longer a real issiue

I have this exact light.
Cant fault it, even better for the price!!

Nice beam and the bulb they sent with it still going and bright as ever.
No cracks in the case, only thing ive found is i had to make some square shaped 'washers' to fit inside the bucket, it has two small rails where the bolt sticks through and you want to hold pretty tight to that to keep your headlight from drooping, or aiming into the sky.

Good size bucket hides all your wiring neatly and is nicely waterproof.

These are a good buy IMO
