i wish that i could ride like that:rock:
hells yea, that shit would be ILL!!! Scary as hell, but ill! I'm guessing, that sort of thing, almost happens by mistake the first time... you push slightly too hard through a turn, you start slipping a little at the rear, and although its the scariest most intense moment you've experienced in a long time, you are somehow able to keep control through the turn, and then you realize what you just did, and go "HOLY SHIT! THAT WAS FREAKING AWESOME!!!!!" And go do it again...

That's the ONLY way I could see me learning to do that shit. For some reason, I just can't picture me heading out there to "try and learn to do that," ya know?

Slowing the clip down it looks like he crosses up the front like a speedway bike. Every turn in speedway racing is throttle, handlebar, and weight. No brakes,no transmission. That said there is no way I would ride a 500cc,methanol fueled,180lb. bike to learn to do this. But then again I'm getting old.
Speedway is severe! If you mess up, even the tiniest bit, for even a half a second.....you lose! NO room for error! Very cool!

There is a sport pretty close to that and its been around for ever.... Dirttrack racing weither it be 1/2 mile or shorttrack its all a controlled drift. You should see if there is a race in your area and go check it out and look at the skill of the younger riders.
Yea, that stuff is cool.... but I want to see some dudes on MotoGP bikes hanging it sideways at 130!

go to a 1/2 mile and watch jonny murphy, chris carr any of those guys 100mph+ then sidewayz, its a rush to watch and do. I know its one thing to do it on a bike but I do it on a quad not a 100+ but 60-70 or so and its a blast. A good friend of mine has risen threw the ranks from 60s to up to a 250f honda now, and he is now backed by Honda with full support, riding everything from flattrack to supermoto and just got into the AMAs lower leagues of sportbike racing and hes only 14 and making a name for himself.
DAMN! Thats sick, 14 years old! I'm sure he doesn't ever have time for it, but see if ya can get him to join up if he ever gets some free time! :cfcartman:
