Very clean work!
Shaved tail turned out great, subtle change but very well worth it...
Exactly, its nothing spectacular but making the 3 rear pieces into one and then shaving off the grab rail holes just makes original tail more refined and streamlined. It sucks when you have to take the tail off, I am always worried one day I will spread it apart too much and it will crack. So far so good though.

So I have a Motor Related Question.

Did you Pull the motor for diss-assembly and Re assemble it in the Frame? or did you put it in there to do the measuring and then pull it out again...

Im working on the Logistics of doing a 750 head swap with cams and Hayabusa pistons
I pulled the motor because I has to split the cases to fix the problems I had. When I put it back together the bottom half was in the frame and then I put the pistons and head on it. The engine is much easier and lighter to move around without the head on it.

Personally unless you all ready have a perfect 750 ********, I wouldnt bother trying to find one. I would just have your Bandit head ported/polished.

Here is the dyno sheet. This is the only time I have been able to get it on the dyno. This was taking back when I had the RS40s and I was having major issues with tuning which you can clearly see from the dyno run. It turned out that two of the four slides in the carbs were broken and thats why I could never get it to run well in lower RPMs.

I then switched to a set of RS38s and the bike has been perfect ever since but I have not had a chance to get a new dyno run. Hopefully this year.

Wow man inspiring work!! Love it!! my frame is bare and ready to painted atm did you powder coat? And what did you use to paint the forks?

And any ideas if the 1216 kit works for the slightly smaller cc gsxr 1100 motor?

Everything is painted including the forks. I dont care much for powder coating and since I do auto body I have access to any paint and can paint anything I want for myself for free. It works out in the end.
