Bandit throttle tube

I have searched but haven't been able to find a good answer. Is it possible to replace the throttle tube on a gen 1 bandit 600?

Yes. Pretty much any push/pull throttle tube will work. The only difference would be diameter. All Suzuki bikes (well most. Some cruisers are different) have the same width of the cable area. Look into Gsxr. Tl1000. Sv1000 and 650. Or if you want a quicker turn throttle look into r1 and r6. Though you may need to modify those last 2 to fit

The r6 and r1 work. Have an r1 on my Bandit. Google "riflemans throttle insert" Its even a faster turn than the yami ones.
Thank you. I will look into that. How much modification is required for a r6 or r1 tube?

Ok so I started the PVC mod and the epoxy is drying as I write this, but where the throttle cable comes through the housing is going to hit the added PVC. Its like the rigid metal sheath around the cable is going to rub, is there a way to cut this down

Will the r6 throttle tube work on the mk2 bandits as well?
