my wife. SHe wants one and I think we have. We rode a 2006 Kawi Ninja 650-R that had a Scorpion exhaust, Ohlins rear shock, jet kit, and a few other cosmetic items. It is only a 2 cylinder but she only wieghs 108lbs. Any other bikes out there to recommend looking at? I dont want to have a stupid amount of power since she'll ride it also.

I will be getting my wifey a bike soon too. the problem is she is SMALL. so small in fact that she can just touch her toes on the floor while sitting on a ninja 250.

I ahve a friend who is selling a ninja 500, so I think thats what I'll get her first. but I'm gonna have to get it as low as possible. dropping the tubes through the tripples and make a slightly longer set of dogbones should do it

An EX500 or EX600. SV650 is also a pretty good choice.
Thos ZX650Rs are fucks, I worked on a couple and they were always fucks. The SV650 is a better deal anyway, and easier to modify the rider position.

Did I mention that the ninja 650 is a fuck of a bike? Fuck it. That's what you do. Fuck it off a cliff and never look back.

I want to get my girl riding but she has expensive (and poor, from my perspective) taste in harleys... says sport bikes look too fake, so I might be able to get her into fighters with the right persuasion though. Same issue flint, she's 5'2", so we'd have to go with something looooow.

My wife has taken over my EX500. She's 5'8", so height really isn't an issue for her. If you would like her to ride a fighter-ish bike, I'd recommend a naked GS500 for just starting out.

Another way to get your wife closer to the ground is to shave down the seat. If you don't want to go that route, the Corbin seats for the EX500 provide a little lower seat than the stock seat, but they are a bit pricey.

HAHA, my wife hates harleys with a passion.... its actually kinda funny. when she's riding with me she refuses to give "the nod" to harleys.

Damn flint, thats cold!

Better than the other way around. It's just cos her dad has a harley and thats all she's really been around until me.

one of my wifes friends is like that.... her parents had harleys, so thats what she says she likes. I told her that she doesn't have to make the same mistakes as her parents
