This just means he has to finish a day earlier than us in 'merica (fuck yeah)... Advantage us....

Very cool platform for a build! DW!

Yes i looked at that and i made sure i was OK the rules thread states start on the 1st of november and finish 11.59 EST so im good to go and finish at the same time at you mericans

bahahahahahaha

i have done nothing to it today, it has been no advantage in any way. i have been working all day today so my advantage had been squashed. bugger these things we do to pay for bike builds.

I've got the 99 gen R1 forks on my R6, just went out and measured cap to center line of axle and got 730.25mm on the side stand, might be closer to 724mm if it were up right.

And ps the link for the discussion thread in your sig goes to the build thread when clicked... :D

Thanks, I forgt to sort that out, I fell asleep when making the build off threads so it got a little messy. Put both of them in the completely wrong place to start with.

Thanks to admin who cleaned that up for me.

YEs the R1 98-01 forks are 750mm i have just looked it up. So your measurement would be about right with a little sag from the bike on them.

Rep your way for going out with the tape.

So the list is of possiable forks.

ZX636 Year unknowen
zx9r 94-97
r1 98-01
rc51 sp1

Im having a asshole time with Ebay at the moment. to look at US items i have to look at .co.uk and they come up.

When i look at .com i get german and itay and france, no US. Its pissing me off.

I have changed regions and entered us delivery addresses. still no luck.

Like i said pissing me off

this cracks me up. never seen the frame all by its lonesome before.

I get now why it's so fucking light.
Yes I was so surprised when I took it apart at how lightweight the frame was.

that's luvly stuf mate, wish ya was closer I coud fit ya up with some usds fer sure :(
That's good to know Rob. Hicklife has a full front off a Zx9 b fora good price. I hope I can save enough to get it be for he redeploys.

The pistons are costing as much as I paid for the bike so it might end up having a stock front end to start off.
