Glad to hear this! Once you taste the punch of the big V there is no way of goin back. But stop for a while and consider what the Hammamatsu engineers hadf to do to git rid of the "WidowMaker" tag. The rotary damper and the big bad monster torque spike, the on/off switch clutch action, was all ironed out for the SV1k to give a broad spread of power in a more useable chassis. The only thing wrong was that the fuckers called it an SV (which it no way aint) and to emasculate it's previous "monster" memories into the recycle bin and to present it with a more user-friendly attitude.

I will lay money that before long you will see a "factory fighter" from Suzi with a TL based 1100 or 1200 motor and stylin to dahhh fer.

My 2centsworth for the day ;)

That bike is sweet! I agree with the others, his headlight setup really sets the whole bike off. Great color he picked too! Water cooled V-twins make me drool........

Wow. Nice bike. I've been looking at TL's alot too, lately. (prolly cause my little fizzer 6 doesn't deserve to lug around my 250lb. ass)Unfortunately my family and the fizz are trying to get a home of our own this year, so no new bike for me yet.

But this just isn't helping the case.

Bike came out great but tell Jason I still think the LED's are gay..:LolLolLolLol:

I hear your beast got 2nd place at tuner wars.. Congrats.

The CBR hasn't been touched in weeks, I keep spending all my money on other shit.. I just bought an older BMW and I've been sinking $$$$$$ into it. I'll get back on the CBR project soon.

I'll be stoping by the shop tomorrow, talk to you then.

I love that paint colour, looks wicked.

And BB...keep an eye out for the Hyosung 1000 naked bike next year...concept pics that I've seen (dealer eyes only) show a pretty sick machine. Similar to the GT650X but more 'refined' for lack of a better word.

yea yea its a nice bike yadda yadda.

he has 13+ years working at the local suzuki and yamaha stealerships, then went to work for a extremely high end porsche restoration company which is where he learned his work atmosphere traits. though his bikes have always been on the up and up.
here is a link to his site. it hasn't been updated in a while. he isn't the webmaster. www.karnsperformance.com i forget exactly when but he/we are having an open house in may. with a dyno shootout. and guess who gets to run it? yup......me. he just got the dyno in november and has been really giving it a workout. he just recently pulled 176 true HP out of his 05 k1000 after he put cams in it. prior to that he got 154. it is a dynojet with the brake on it. and can be linked to your power commander. he is going to vegas in april to get "certified" by dynojet and be listed on their site as "approved" dynojet tuning center.

as far as him getting on here he doesn't have much time to breathe and hasn't taken in the whole online community thing. he does post occasionally on gixxer.com. his reasoning is there are a bunch of yahoos online with lots of opinions (and there are) albeit some he says do know what they are talking about. but with a soon to be one year old, one on the way in august, moving, and running the shop. his plate is pretty full or did i mean fool?:D

it is a great shop with all the necessary tools except a CNC machine but i think they are more for choppers. i don't think i could have pulled off my project otherwise.

as far as employment skrooz.......i am not sure right now. he has a buddy working there P/T and i help out to. but he does have plans on bringing on additional help at somepoint. i am just not sure on when that will be.

i was just kidding man, i couldn't pull myself away from the beach. been here too long, and i make a living with my "connections". i help them, they help me. don't think i'd be happy in a new town without them.

besides, if i move again, it'll be south. i don't do snow! :D

ah... dig around the recent threads man. i don't work there anymore. drama drama drama. people not doing what they said they would, etc. i MAY still be in daytona, but it'll be solo, or with a couple of underground local custom builders, not with a shop.

i WILL be at myrtle though. won't have any 'fighters with me unfortunatly. i'm borrowing my old xs650 bobber back from it's new owner for the week, so i'll be on that.
