I just read over the Buell site. They have a full site with all specs and features on it. They have definatly done some work on this one. It's all redesigned. The chassis is stiffer, holds 5.6gals of fuel. 47mm Showa's, 8 piston caliper FT, dual piston RR. Super corsa III tires. Engine is a 72 Degree Rotax twin. DOHC 4 valve tapper actuated. Hydraulic/ vacume actuated sliper clutch. What I got from that is it use the engine vacume to slip the clutch even more seamlessly on back shifts. 61mm TB's, huge. coil on plug ignition, Best part 146hp @ 9800RPM, 82lb, Ft @ 8000. It's the Buell that everyone has been waiting for. I want one.

Re: Buell breakthrough: 1125R powered by a non-Harley-based engine

...powered by an engine with no Harley lineage. The 72-degree, liquid-cooled V-twin in the new 1125R is built by Buell and Rotax. Engines built by Rotax have powered a variety of motorcycles over the years, from single-cylinder dirt-track racebikes to Aprilia sportbikes for the street.
The best move they've made in a long time :metal:

It may not be the best looking bike stock... but let's be real... how many of you are sitting on stock rides?

So... the tail and lights are awkward... like you wouldn't replace them anyways... lol

I just love some of the innovative ideas put into Buells, and have always felt they were held back by their powerplants.

Honestly, this could be the ugliest bike ever built, and it would still excite me, because it means a very innovative bike builder just broke free of his ball and chain...
