I have a bandit 12 engine and frame, but i want this bike to be different. Suggestions would be great. The thing is im going to use a gsxr 1000 front and a single sided swing arm on the rear. Then of course ill add the usual. Im thinking of putting the gas tank under the seat and putting the down pipes where the gas tank was. This bike when finished will look either great or weird, but i want to find out. Any ideas would be great. Where will the electrics go?

Sounds cool depending how it's done. But the pipes where the tank was.......that could get real hot in places you don't want to be hot.

Thats some real funky thinkin. If you put the pipes where the tank was wouldn't that be blowing exhaust right into your crotch??

I'm affraid I can't offer any suggestions because thats quite a unique design, but I'd love to see it built:party-smiley:

The down pipes will go under the back seat or maybe half way. I'll have to make some kind of grill to protect me from the pipes and i'll have to rebuild the back end to allow for the down pipe design. It will be hard to start with but i dont give up easily. Alot of drawing and planning but it should be possible. Do i chrome the whole thing or spray it? A large back tyre would be ideal but with a single sided swing arm? I gather a steering damper will have to be added as this might be unstable without it. The electrics have me. Where will i move them to?

just got done reading the article about the Wakan. They've got the battery down under the swingarm pivot, behind the engine down low. They also have the gastank where the traditional Harley oil tank would be, directly under the seat, but if you are putting the fuel under the bike, the underseat area could be where the electircs would go....

You can see the grey box under the swingarm where the battery is.
