hey guys i'm in process of mounting some renthal fat bars on my r6.
i picked up some fz6 throttle cables but i'm having a bitch of a time with clutch. i was going to have motion pro make me one but they want like $57.00 and a 10 day min wait. i was going to make one myself i can't get just a few feet of cable the shortest amount i found was 100' and thats a lot more than i need and more than i want to spend (already went over budget for this project but that always happens... i mean its my bike so why not) can anyone help me out. i'm sure someone else has had to deal with this. the project is almost done (well i should say i'm almost back on the road i don't think i won't ever stop customizing my ride), i'll throw some pics up soon. thanks

Have a local dirtbike ATV shop? The one I used to frequent back home could make you whatever length you want. They also have a butt load in stock already made. You may have to take a file to the lead nub at the end because some of them had larger nubs but its an option.

I found that the old ninjas (late 80s) use really long cables because of their gay looks & set up. So I'm running a ninja 600 clutch cable.

Motion Pro rocks, it's worth every cent. Their teflon coated cable is supreme.

i took care of it. thanks guys. i went to Motorcycles Of Manchester (usually i hate that shop) and Jay let me match up what i had against their rack of genaric cables. i should have gone there first, i mean they are 2 seconds down the road but i never thought they would have them in the back they usually don't keep inventory. they are not perfect but i am riding. when i get a little cash i am most likey going buy the motion pro supplies and make my own.
