My buddy is looking for a fighter. He is a cruiser guy but wants something he can ride every day without having to polish chrome after riding. His budget is $500ish. Wreck bikes are no problem. Just need a clean title bike. He is open to any sport bike, but really likes the idea of building a 7/11. We live in Cleveland and are willing to pick up whatever we find within 100-150 miles.

check out cleveland craigslist you can usually find somthing on there pretty cheap

I recently made a trip to Mentor for a wedding and spent some time cruising the Cleveland cragislist ads. Every few days, it seems, there is a decent bike for a good price to start fightering. Two regrets: taking the wife and not taking the truck, otherwise I would have come home with a Katana 750...
