I am in desperate need of help. I am in the process of buidling a radical bobber/street fighter. I have my VFR 750 swingarm on and I am trying to figure out the car rim offset and spacing. I have a 17x7 rim with a +40 offset and I have read several differnt comments about the size of the spacer I should use. I have read threads stating anywhere from a 21 to a 30 spacer. I also have a +38 rim if that would work better. So my question is what spacer size should I use for the +40 or the +38? I am looking to run a 200/50/17 tire is there any advice you can give me?

This should sort you right out. CBRRRT did a great writeup on finding the spacer size. Download the PDF from the first post, grab a measuring device, and do work! :D

Sounds to me like your just down to a wheel adapter and it's all bolted up? Any pics? :D

Doing a 15" car wheel on mine, requires a huge wheel adapter to suit the fitment so I'm not sure what a 17 entails.
