I recall reading somewhere that on F2/F3 bikes, race guys would up the performance by swapping the intake cam for the exhaust (or vice versa?) and adjusting the cam timing to work properly. So basically running the same cams on intake and exhaust. Can anyone tell me if that was the case and what is all involved.

Also an Airbox question. My F2 airbox is a bit damaged on the lower part (someone tried to yank the carbs off and cracked it), so I wanted to know if the F3 airbox WITHOUT ram air, any better or superior to the F2 box. Basically any benefit to run an F3 box on an F2 with NO RAMAIR?
