Many Thanks. Unfortunately, many things are not as simple as they look.
They never are but if was easy everyone would be doing it lol! Keep on keeping on and you’ll get there!

Yes, unfortunately it is. I (almost) always like the results.

Housing repaired with 2 component glue. The rest is the new turned part.

Here for comparison. Plastic original. Replica aluminum.

So and here with the case and plastic disc and small refinements and here with real glass

You’ll need to report on how you like the wideband. I’m thinking really hard about getting one for one of my projects.

Later, Doug

OK I will do it. At the end of the manifold it will do its job. But each of the 4 manifolds also has a place to adjust the engine correctly.

As I said before, I don't like the modified swing arm mounting.

148891
148892

I would like a swing arm bearing that has no play. Neither radial nor axial.
So clamp the rocker in the milling machine and align it meticulously in order to mill the bearing seat to a minimum for correct bearings.

148893

Goes amazingly well. I didn't think so.

148895

3 bearings per side are planned.

a new spacer sleeve with lubrication grooves .........

148899
148900

........ joins the old spacer sleeve that has been minimally shortened.

My GSX-R 750 SRAD fork is by nature a bit too short for the Bandit. Therefore I had to extend it a little. From my point of view, the easiest thing to do was to extend the fork plugs.

148950

Copying is not that difficult as the plug is simple in structure.

148951
148952
148953

So quickly get 7075 aircraft aluminum ...............

........................... and the project implemented.

Almost done !!!

What bothered me for a long time was the insufficient space of the gas Bowden cable under the tank and the associated unfavorable relocation of the gas Bowden cable.

I built something myself with optimal angles and the whole ball bearing.

148962
148963

For me this is the best angle and the throttle cable no longer kinks here.

Here with a gas Bowden cable. Also do-it-yourself. Coated stainless steel cable in a Teflon cover from JAGWIRE. Actually made for braking on bicycles.
