brake switches arrived today, rear one is a pressure switch, no issues there... front one fits the master cylinder , but the striker on the lever misses it by a cuntry mile, but I can sort that out

need to work out a brake lever, but there isn't a pivot point, and I don't to go drilling random holes..... soooo.... I knocked up a temporary adjustable pivot point, the first lever will be as Heath Robinson as fuck, but it'll be a start

and I scribbled up a better plan for the reverse megaphones

TT this year, we're taking vans, done the drone down the motorway with laden-ed bikes for years, but a TL with a 12l tank is a step too far, so i modded a paddock stand to fit the van.

well I used it to aid removal of the rear wheel, no centre stand now.....

rear tyre coming off tomorrow, before I buy new tyres, never seen the wheel nekkid before, fingers crossed

tyre is off the wheel for the first time in at least 15yr, thankfully all looks good inside

as promised, the scabbiest most Heath Robinson looking brake lever mock up ever. i'll modify and mount master cylinder first

master cylinder rod extended by 110mm, cable tied it back on, yup..... that'll do Donkey

marked up the lever and took it off ready to replicate if a more suitable medium, to be honest i'll prob keep the rear bit, its pretty much hidden and it works. The actual lever i'll re-do

friend turned me a couple of shims today, that's the rear wheel properly spaced, torque arm to sort out and the rear end is done

first bit of proper brake lever cut out and bent up, decent bit of stainless rather than a chopped up bit of angle iron

welded the tabs for the rear master cylinder on

was going to drill the hole for the pivot point, but without the temporary mount plate here it is too much of a guess

i'm going to bond the rear plastic tail to the light, since i've chopped off all the mounts, but the rear light mounting plate would prevent it from sliding into place, so I jigged up a bracket, welded it in place , and chopped the shit out of the plate. It'll need some tweaking , but all the welds will be tidied up and finished on the bare frame

drilled and tapped the plate for the brake pedal mount, put a pocket in the back for a nut

my clip on tubes have had holes drilled in them already, and I need to drill for switch wires, so picked up a new set. My supplier used to stock lengths of 7/8" x 1/8th wall , but no more... so i went and bought a blek set

still needs the toe peg, but I have a working rear brake pedal, no fancy billet, just bent welded steel

bar grips here too , but I tend to leave them in the box till last, save them getting boggin

front wheel out, measured up for spacers , new tyres ordered, powder coater messaged , one more build up and drag outside, then all being well.... strip it
