Dads been gone 12yr now, I really should do something with this

nothing drastic, thinking keep two seats, standard motor, nice little 2 up bike

the start, barn door fairing, clubman bars and Gpz900rr motad exhausts

and after a couple of hours waiting for my boy to finish at the mall (shopping centre for those non Muricans)

the time is now , or near enough, it's in the van waiting for the hypertard to leave the shed

got tyres on the wheels, not the final ones, but tyres all the same

dug out a set of calipers, the stock discs sit too close to the spokes for radial calipers, i'll sort that tho

its a cable clutch, so the zx10r master cylinder / clutch perch that were rejected from the present build will fit right in

found a couple of nissin rear master cylinders in the brake box, one of them will do, need to find a decent rear caliper tho

not sure about the clutch actuator on the Hondy, but I have this brand new Suzuki one if needed

it made it to the shed , sat outside in the sun not suspecting a thing.......

then the doors opened and the carnage ensued .... Sorry little Hondy, but it'll all be ok

never did sell the clip ons from the CB13, might as well put them to good use

little bit of horse trading has got me the rear caliper i was needing , would be better in black, to match the front, but that could happen

Would be nice if we were close enough I could powder coat things for you. If you've got a bunch of small things you want to box up and think would be affordable to post back and forth, give me a shout. I'd be happy to volunteer services for your Pop's bike.

Nice shocks btw!

pretty much stripped down, I had been going to have the stock seat trimmed and recovered, but its a steel base and rusted to fuck , thankfully I kept the modern CB750 seat I had been going to bin, it is pretty much the exactly the same length and width , result .

arm is out so I can get measured for a new one, i'll try use the pivot tube I had on the shelf with a bit of trimming .

sized up for brake disc spacers

got the rev cable drive out, that'll get a blank made

Angle grinder forced it's way into the situation

cambox cover looks cool as fuck

i took the disc and sprocket adaptors off of the frankenwheel to size up for bearings, turns out the existing bearings are seized solid, and even better, are freedom units bearings, old British wheel, it's held together with BSF cap screws too . I have sourced bearings with 22 bore rather than 7/8" and the OD is 44mm rather than 2", plenty room for a sleeve. The adaptors them selves are steel, i weighed them, combined weight of 3.2kg, reckon I can shave a bit off that with new ally items.

started sizing up the arm too, this one won't do.

will need to offset the gearbox sprocket, but that's no biggie
