Do you prefer your swing arms, braced under, braced on top, or not braced at all?

(assuming you had to pick one, not any of this it depends crap, also assuming you don't have a boner for SSSA or Trikes)

also, post a pic or two of your favs.

It really depends. I have all of the above.

No brace on my Kz1000.

Top braced on my Gsxr750.

Bottom braced on my Kz900.

SSSA on my GPz.

I guess it all really depends on what the rest of the bike looks like and what you're trying to gain.

I like the swingarm on my r6 looks like this so I guess it would be considered top braced

i like top braced personally be cause the lines of it sort of intersect with the lines of the subframe and in my case flows well with the lines of the frame.

Why do hate sssa with such a passion? They look so good when done right.

They do look ok on SOME bikes & yours is ok but thats as far as it goes for me

I like my bikes stripped to the bone & cant see the point in adding weight for no benefit, its not big & its not clever :)

Now if you wanted to be really trick how about a hossack front end ;)

I really like modern hydro-formed looking swingers, especially on old school frames. Generally they're longer than stock and such a contrast to the simple cradle style frame really makes their beautiful engineering a focal point.

What's it for? Modern frames tend to look better top-braced. Older tube framed, old school bikes tend to look better under-braced. JMO,of course.

I haaaaaate it when someone braces a swingarm with non-matching material. If your swingarm is boxy don't brace it with round tubing, and vice-versa.
not even spondon on a racefit?

:D my favorite bike of all time
