anybody know where i can find some hollow steel tubing? or where i should be able to find some? 29" is about normal isnt it?... for handlebars anyways
First of all the word tubing itself means "a hollow cylinder". So saying "hollow tubing" doesn't really make sense. Just for future reference...

There's countless places to find it. Home Depot, Ace, local material distributors, online (McMasterCarr). Possibilities are endless.

BTW, the stuff you get at Home Depot, Lowes, etc. is not gona work for bars. They don't have anything close to 7/8". It's an odd size that home builders have no use for. The closest thing to that size is going to be 1/2" Scheduale 40 water pipe. witch measures 0.840 OD. What you need is 0.875 OD. It's close, but my not clamp tight enough for controls.

I did make my bars using a section of 1" Scheduale 40 pipe. It measures out to 1 1/8" witch works good with MX Fat bar risers. Although I had to weld pieces of 7/8" bar to the ends to fit my controls.
