okay. things to consider:

are you going to want a damper?? if so make sure you leave enough space between the tag mounts...and have high enough risers for ample clearance.

dont drill your holes too close to the hole for the stem. drilling them out makes it weaker as it is.

for my 929 its so simple. all i had to do was flip it over, and drill out the two press marks from when it was made. your bike may not have these, so just make sure you are making the holes in EXACTLY the same location.

like my pops always said: measure twice, cut once (or drill in this case).

start with a small bit and work your way up. you can always make the hole bigger, but not smaller.

i think i got spiegler lines...maybe out of parts unlimited. gonna need like a 16" and two 8"s and a 3 way connector.

renthal bars are good (but expensive- 70-80$) moose makes a set of steel bars for like $16. your call.

your going to have to drill a hole in the bars for your start/kill switch to click into. maybe the headlight/blinker switch also. just put the switches onto where feels good (consider grips as well) then mark the spot and drill out a divot. you dont even have to drill thru. just make a big enough mark for the metal thing to slip into.

think thats it...??? i'll let you know if i think of anything else.

Did you already buy a handbrake? I got a brand new Ducati 996 clutch master sit'n right here next to me. I bought it for $110, if I can get that out of it Ill be happy. PM me if your interested
I got a dual caliper bracket already and a second caliper on it. I got a gsxr master and am not in need of anything but the bars, risers, and long brake lines and i think thats it. Oh yea i got a 58 tooth sprocket and need a long chain.

Yeah there the same thing just a smaller bore and a longer throw.. Alot of guys use brake masters and it ends up being up side down with a longer hose for the resvour.

When you buy the Hand brake kits, the rear hand brake master is just like a clutch master. Same basic principal
