Bike looks good did you swap the forks for adjustable ones or just anodize/paint them?

The ST2 is fully stripped and the engine ready for its strip down:

I found a set of alloy clutch plates had been fitted, bonus, but now I need an alloy clutch basket.

Almost ready for a complete bead blast.

All I need to complete it is 1100 crank or 1000DS crank and a set of 1000DS pistons, I think they will take it from 944 to 992.

Its been about two months but I have finally done some more work on the Monster. The engine has now been etch primed and lacquered. It looks quite good with the red frame.

I then checked the gears, I haven't had this running as the bike was bought in bits.

Loving the red frame and black forks, looks mean!

How was cleaning out the soda from the motor? Any issues washing everything out of the bearings? Need to the original motor casings from my 748R blasting and wanted to do soda this time, but wanted to make sure the bearings would be ok if they got a little in them but were washed out.

Keep up the good work dude.
