Hey-hey man! Glad you could stop by. I think you and I frequent 3 of the same boards now:rock: I'm loving how the bike looks, making me seriosly consider a 7/11 for my next project. Don't worry, it'd be going a whole different direction than yours.

must be a hydraulic clutch with a duc master cylinder. the only motors that had dry clutches were the 86 750 limited's, and they're rarer than rocking horse shit. swapping from cable to hydro clutches on those motors is as simple as changing the lever assembly and the front sprocket cover, but i think the 1100's had hydro clutches anyway.

You guys have brains full of bike trivia! It's impressive.
I keep myself limited to knowing how to fix any bike and try to keep specifics out of the crowd.

My brain doesn't have room for all that shit.

i also have a major soft spot for oil-cooled suzuki's.

I've been working on bikes and cars for 5 years now and none of the specifics stick with me. I have memory problems though :D

I've got two plates keeping skulls from pressing against frontal lobe.
Causes all kinds of weird problems.
I have to consciously decide what I want to remember and do exercizes to remember it.

That's kinda what I figured. Something about moding a clutch assembly seemed way to difficult and unneccessary.

Im using the clutch lever and mastercylinder from the ducati because it was cheap and available. The mastercylinder from the 1100 had a leak in the site glass and I got the ducati setup for $5. Its still a hydro setup so all I have to do is swap the line over to the ducati lever setup
