First I'll start by saying. I got the kit quick as hell, shipped the next day. It is exactly what he said it is and no cmplaints at all about any of that !!! Good guy. Anyone who has delt with him, knows he doesn't want to be taken advantage of and i don't believe he would do that to someone else. !! :party-smiley:
22 min. to install and bleed the brakes ( i timed myself ) haha
two suggestions if i may.
1. the line is verry verry flexable. a small bend pinches and colapses the line. an extra 1/2 inch would have made it possible to ziptie to the subframe where i wanted ( witch is the hole for the old resi so it didn't look duh ) and also not put sutch a bend in the line ??
2. One extra clamp ( just incase )

don't get me wrong, I had NO problem zip tieing it to another spot or any problems with the clamps :)

Thanks for the praise...I am glad you got it installed.

If you are up for bleeding it again..I have no issue sending you a longer piece of hose. I make the kits, and try to make each one about 6" long. If someone needs an extra inch or two...just ask...if I have it...I am glad to send it. :metal:

This hose really shouldn't collapse at all? Did that happen to your line? Its what's considered their hard plastic line...and will not start to soften till it hits 125 °F..as they have that listed as the max temperature usage. It may have gotten to that temperature sitting in direct sunlight?

I have not heard anyone have any complaints about this issue at all.

What brake fluid do you use? If you did have some rear brake issues, I suspect its more of an issue with the brake fluid being exposed to extended UV light...which will affect all brake fluids, the cheaper ones quicker than the expensive ones. I use $13/qt Ate Blue....which is pretty much one of the best fluids on the market.

Now, if you kinked it going around a subframe bar, or something like that, that is another story...I would re-route it to avoid any kinks.

Yes sir. It is dot4 good stuff from the shop and new. After a 90 degree day and some wheelies, It was sucked colapsed like a straw, when it cooled it came most the way back but not all the way. If i take the plug out for a sec ??? back to normal. I'm still riding it !!!;)
I dunno yet, but it's installed as good as it can be.

I got your Pm and replied. No one has told me about that happening, but its def something I wanna watch for and stay on top of.

Just curious, how much head room.....air space, are you leaving between the top of the line and the plug?..from the top of the fluid. I am think more or less could maybe cause this? Or, if you were using it a lot, the heat from the brakes was absorbed by the fluid and straight through the system. Next time you are done stunting....and using the rear brake......put your hand against the rear master...see how hot it is.....if the system is getting too hot, my kit may not be good for stunters, or anyone who is heavy on the rear brakes.

I don't know....just searching for answers.....trying to make sure no one gets hurt from my product.

I got ya....keep track of it, and maybe play with the amount of fluid in the line....if its to the top, take some out..if its low..try putting more in???

I don't use my rear brake much at all...but when I do it off the bike, the level in the line only moves a C hair....a small blip.

BTW...did you get the longer line I sent ya and I hope it worked out?
