Sounds like u should just buy an fz09.
The reason the MT09 is so good is the motor. Hard to make a vtwin as good as the yamaha triple. If EBR made a bike that matched the fz09 on specs, price, style, and maintenace... oh baby. They would be rolling in it. Well, as much of it as motorcycle sales allow.
What's this about Polaris? I thought the buyer was some New Jersey dude who makes metal fixtures?

The rc51 has about 20 more horsepower, but it's dry weight is 7kgs higher than the MT09's wet weight. It was a heavy bike, not sure how much of that was motor and radiators, etc.RC51?
The 1125 concept could have very easily been a V4I don't think EB is philosophically opposed to a tripple (or any other engine). EBR just happens to have tooling for a frame that holds a v twin.
Yeah, it is what it is. I guess I've just always like to root for the underdog......especially the American owned underdogs. The story of every "American" vehicle manufacturer in the past two decades:

Best of luck and all that. After the changing of hands and the way things have gone I'll be more confident in expectation of success when they have a few years established and are going strong again. I've got my opinion on the matter but it's not a popular one. It's a niche market for sure (Buell and EBR bikes), and the more expensive and exotic the bikes get (EBR for example), the less consumers I see buying them up. Just go racing and sell a few for the sake of it. No need to try to be the next great motorcycle company.
