So I wired most everything up today and I decided to hook up the battery and see if anything works......Well turn signals wouldnt come up....so I try hooking up the headlight....no dice either...then im like well lets hook up the starter wire and see if it atleast turns over. So I touch the starter wire to the positive terminal and it starts turning over......WITHOUT ME TOUCHING THE START BUTTON!! WTFFF???? so I take it off and try a couple more times and the same thing. I notice that it started to melt the terminal where I was touching the wire. WTF?? Anyone have any help??

Definately a short somewhere, wiring is tricky! If it were me I'd tear it all out and start from scratch.

Sounds like Skrooz got it fixed- but it sounds like you are missing a solenoid. Melting of the terminal is not arcing from a short to ground, but from the high amperage draw from the starter motor.

by all means dont keep trying to connect the terminal hoping its going to work :muah: sounds like skrooz is on top of it. ill leave it to him, but i had to razz you
