This bike belongs to a good friend of mine, Ethan Barkley. He's the current record holder for quickest street legal motorcycle in Canada, 8.51s @ 164.62mph. That was on his '04 GSXR1000, 234HP, 121ft/lbs of torque. The second video is his brand new, Suzuki Sponsored, 2006 GSXR1000 Turbo. The old bike was n2o, new one is turbo. This was one of the first runs he did on this bike, and btw, that's a Shinko tire on the rear The new bike is running very strong, and even with testing all year, he won his second (and back to back) championship. Next year is bigger and better, and there's a possibility I may get into the pit area a little more often (if you catch my drift arty-smiley: )

Yep, has a plate and does get street time. Though not much because the 04 has been coverted back. It has the bare minimum req'd, but it's all there.

Is that bump in the seat supposed tpo be there? looks uncomfortable.

That hump is there to keep him from sliding backwards at 200mph.
