The prizes for "The Motorcycle of the year 2006" have been given in Bologna, where the models of MV Agusta Group have been the absolute stars. The rewards have been awarded through the votes of the magazine’s readers "Motosprint", together with the most prestigious magazines of all Europe: Motorrad (Germany), Toeff (Switzerland), Moto Journal (France), Motociclismo (Spain), Motociclismo (Portugal), Motor Revue (Hungary), Motocykl (Poland), Motocykl (Czech Republic) and Motor Revija (Croatia).

The models of MV Agusta Group have received the following prizes:

MV AGUSTA F4 1000 Senna for the category SPORTIVE (18,2% of votes)
MV AGUSTA BRUTALE 910S for the category NAKED (20,9% of votes)
CAGIVA MITO 125 for the category 125 (19,5% of votes)

The F4 1000 and the Cagiva Mito 125, is "okay" -
don't get me wrong, I wouldn't roll it outta my garage -
but it just doesn't offer up a huge impact on me.

BUT THE BRUTALE, OMFG -

IMHO, that bike is pure muscle - luv the lines on that bike, the frame, wheels, single sided swingarm, front fairing, mirrors, forks
dual stubby pipes, it's also got a quick release sprocket -
'cept it IS CRYING OUT desparately for a tail chop.

another thing - altho the 70.8 ft lbs of torque sounds good, it's only pumpin out 136HP (and I couldn't find whether that was from the crank or the rear wheel) so I'm assuming the crank - and that's kinda anemic for a 900cc bike, don't ya think????????????

Still tho - nice bike!

The Brutale is beautiful but I could never own something like that, even if it was given to me.
