Hey all, I'm trying to find some place to score some stainless steel elbows, I know the OD is 1.75, the pieces I'm looking for are 90 and 45degree elbows but the need to be short....and what gauge would these normally be?

does anyone know where I could pick this stuff up fairly cheap?

Have you looked on Cone Engineering's or Burn's Stainless's sites?

Normally exhaust tend to be 18 or 16ga.

Later, Doug

Oh and you can find standard straight and "U" bent pipes etc at your local autoparts store usually. Its not gonna be stainless or real high quality but it will be pretty cheap. Theyll also have step up and step down adapter pieces you may end up needing and you can physically put hands on it before buying unlike buying online. Good luck!

I built my (2") exhaust from a box of "seconds" i bought from a guy who sells it by the box, but is UK based, maybe you can find something similar over there? http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/fastbitsr..._DefaultDomain_3&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2562

I probably have enough for another 2-3 bikes left over!

And for 90 deg bends i used "Jetex" http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Jetex-90-...t=LH_DefaultDomain_3&var=&hash=item540e46c7c0

1.75 90 deg http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Jetex-Uni...071?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item43a9fb00c7

F'ing awesome!! Thanks for all the info fellas! I've got unfinished exhausts laying all over my shop! I'm currently running my first one being it renders the more HP out of any I've built, but I've learned a lot so I just need to make a few modifications and the others will be ready to rip!

I've been checking ebay for pipe and found a few pieces for fairly cheap, gonna hit up the local exhaust shops next week, I managed to scrounge a bunch of 90's and 45's out of my buddies scrap pile but I still need the straight piece that connects directly to the header, it has to be a little thinner so it can be clamped to the header

I work at a mill and you'd think there would be little pieces around everywhere with all the piping around here but it's all to heavy gauge for and exhaust, it just kills me to see all the good stuff they just chuck in the scrap pile!

Speaking of which...it's time to go dumpster diving, I like to fix shit around the department, it's fun to piss the millys off by digging shit out that they tossed and use it to fix or rebuild little shit around the mill:)
