There's instructions in the box when you get it...it's super super easy man. I did it on my ninja in about half an hour. It's easiest to remove the exhaust. The hardest part on mine was because I did the full header, and it was hard to have a clean look at the collector. The individual pipes were easy, but the point where they all met got ugly quick.

most instructions will tell you to wet the wrap, but i always do it dry. less mess, and i've never had a problem with it. just make sure you keep the wrap as tight as physically possible at all times. if your hands get tired (and they will) just throw a few zip ties on it to hold it in place tightly, and go have a smoke, or a beer, or whatever, and come back to it when you can feel your hands again.

it'll smoke like crazy the first time you run it, that's normal.

That was my next question, Where do i buy the wrap ?? Think any place like a locl shop would have it. I was just going to fast black the header, but i realy like this idia better !!
Wrapp it that tight so my hands hurt I'm wrapping it that tight ?? Ok I think i get it !! Is the white washable or does it discolor after awhile. For my bike i do think black would look sick !!

any more input is welcome here !!

yeah, the white usually comes clean with a water hose. if you get the black, and you hose it down with any kind of pressure, it'll end up white.

Mine was wrapped when I bought the bike.. I wanna re-wrap it but my header hangs so low it always scrapes the ground when I come down from a wheelie.. I think when I upgrade my rear suspention and make it stiffer it'll be good. Im deff. a big fan of exhaust wrap

I think the stuff is made by DEI, and I'm pretty sure they sell the spray to re-black it if you get crazy washing it.

Has anyone heard of problems wraping over ceramic coated pipes?

I wrap exhaust on a daily basis...long story, but it is way easy but a pain in the ass. To secure it, dont use hose clamps...use safety wire. It looks cleaner and it will be more secure. Also, like mentioned before, you have to have it tight of it will come apart in no time. I have some I think in my garage that I can send you...just pay shipping. Its tan in color though.

i wrap EVERYTHING!!

if i actually paid for the stuff, i'd probably buy stock in header wrap just for a return on my investment.

and yeah, it's gonna smoke, and any time you get caught in the rain, it's gonna steam, alot. think of it as your own personal smoke screen.
