What do you think? Should we allow late entries?

I do.... here's why:

1) The more the merrier
2) If they enter late, that's just less time for them to do it

But, it's your forum guys (and gals! [and Adam] lol!) so what do you think?

Should people still be able to enter the buildoff?

It all depends on the individuals situation. I'm not gonna win anyway so whatever the masses decide.

I know alot of other boards have bike of the month. I know Monster has it.

The board can have the annual build off which starts every Jan 1st

AND

Seperately still have a Streetfighter of the Month which members nominate and vote for. That way everyone(even the ppl late for the buildoff) can strive to get their fighters up to par to be the best.


PS: any stretched swingarms will be cause for instant disqualification as well as any major work done by outside professionals.

entering late doesnt hurt anyone but the person entering cuz they have less time.

dont care, but the same rules apply, before and after....we are being judged on the build more so then the end product so i dont really see the difference...

+1 And remember, we will be splitting the contest up into categories to make sure no one category has more than 10 bikes in it. So if you're worried about too much competition, don't be...

We're not 100% sure how they will be split up, as it really depends on the bikes entered...

So far we have:

6 Suzuki's
7 Honda's
3 Yamaha's
2 Kawasaki's

So, we may have a Suzuki, Honda and Miscellaneous category, to try to keep things fair as much as possible. Then, there would still be one final "Best Streetfighter" category that consists of the winners of each of the other 3 categories.

How does that sound to you guys?

Of coarse late people can join, if they enter late, they're at a time disadvantage anyways so why would it matter.

Just remember they'll still have to post before pics with proof of date....
