Had this for a few years and finally getting around to fixing it up. So she started off as a VFR750 RC24 so its an 86. Hes gixer front end and rear end and the usual dominators and clocks to match.

Was a non runner when i bought it and turns out it had the wrong wiring and ecu on it so have now replaced it all.

Having a few problems but here are a few pics how do i put pics up?

So i haven't posted in a while so here are a few updates

So i replaced all electrics from ECU to loom etc, cleaned the carbs ordered and fitted a few bits and bobs and shes alive.

refurbed front calipers with new seals, pads, stainless fittings and coated them in satin black

Forks are in bits awaiting new seals and oil

Subframe is off as need to make a functional battery box as previous owners attempt was shocking

Bought loads off cable, connectors and terminals as had to re route electrical components

Now for the few problems i'm having - First off need to know what forks are on it so i know how much oil and the air gap. Will post up more progress as it happens and some pics

I'm going gsxr 1100 on the forks....

Seems like they are long for USD forks, which those are...

Could be wrong though :D

91 gsxr 1100 forks are 735mm, 52mm top diameter and 56mm bottom diameter.

93 gsxr 1100 forks are 775mm long and have the same diameter as the 91s.

Not posted in ages and the bikes about there.

Forks were off a Gixer 750 SRAD and i did the seals ages ago

Everything is done except rear brake whick has been giving me problems as im running ninja wheels. Have now got proper caliper and carrier and had to shim it out bawhair as disc was hitting the carrier. All im waiting on now is the caliper bolts so i can get brakes bled and fit a new chain and sprocket kit.

Will get some pics up when i get a chance to get to my garage as Scotlands covered in snoow just now
