sorry for being away for so long, job has kept me busy but I did find pistons for the vintage f/a rotax motor and now the jugs just need to be bored over then the motor will be set. need to play with the timing to run the motor in reverse so that I can run a right side drive to my Harley tranny (which will also be spinning in the opposite direction). frame is going to need some modification in order to clear the belt to the larger tire (180 vs stock 130 I believe).

Is the Rotax motor more powerful than the Ninja 500 mill? All I know about Rotaxes is what they're used in.
Regardless, sounds like an interesting build and I'll be watching.

I need to dig into my Harley tranny here and find out if what works in my head is fact or fiction on the issue of running it in the reverse direction...............:write:
