After this there's two things you can do, put the fork on a bottle jack and tie some rope around the compressor and jack off, or find a gap between two solid planes that you could push the fork down through and stick the holder tool in.

You can use pvc again for the driver, but I use the old seal and I place a stone hemisphere (a half sphere piece of stone I got somewhere) in the old seal and with a block of wood and a rag I beat the tube down onto the sphere which drives the seal up into the tube.

Yeah haha the threads will bite into and ruin the plastic piece is why I did it. Ran a die over the end so I could get the nut on. Adjust the bolt to where it sits within the piece then tighten the inner nut to the fork piece and the outer nut to the pvc and it won't go anywhere. Thought about throwing another nut into the equation to where there was a nut on either side of the pvc holding it steady but it isn't necessary.
