Frogfish's 03 SV650S build

This will be in real-time, so the build pace may vary at times. I also have a truck I am working on and sometimes my priorities will switch haha.

BUT....here we go. I love the look of streetfighters so I will be trying to emulate Zuki's build from SVRider but with some twists of my own. I will def be going with a white and black theme. Here's the bike as she sits:

2003 Suzuki SV650S with 12k miles
TLS clip ons
stainless steel brake lines
Frame/swingarm powdercoated black
05 GSXR 750 forks/brakes/wheel
ZX-14R rear shock
aTRE
PAIR removed
Delkevic shorty muffler
R6 throttle tube
rear cowl
tinted shield
fender eliminator
K&N air filter
adjusted throttle position sensor






next to my truck (also a work in progress)


Already ordered:
Motosliders frame and swingarm sliders
CRG RC2 shorty brake and clutch levers
Renthal streetfighter bars
bar end mirrors (Ebay)

Next up will be looking for a Yammie MT-03 headlight so i can start ripping her clothes off.

Practiced for 2 hrs today after work. Getting more comfortable riding, but still a ways to go.

anyways, these arrived today:






Will get the frame sliders on tomorrow, and the CRG clutch lever will come on monday. New bars should be in next week as well

This looks a lot like my old '03 SV650! Looking forward to the progress.

You are going to take the side and nose fairings off, right?!!!

Yes, the fairings will be coming off as soon as I order and get my MT-03 headlight in!

Got the CRG shorty clutch in as well, and lovin it so far!


Oh and renthal streetfighter bars and Genmar risers came in today. Ordering a headlight this weekend, and as soon as that comes in I will be ripping off all her clothers and throwing on the bars!

Does anyone know what triple tree top will be a direct swap with my 05 GSXR 750 front end so I can install renthal handlebars/risers? I am too afraid to drill into my triple tree.

If you need a never installed MTO3 light, let me know....bought one for my gs500 (thread on here somewhere) along with custom brackets from Knifemaker....let me know. I'm going round headlight so it won't fit what I'm trying to do.

My el cheapo bar end mirrors came in today, will go on when i install the bars

Also ordered today:
Mt-03 headlight with knifedragger mounts
used 05 gsxr 750 triple top off ebay, so i can have a spare when i install handlebar clamps. Will also relocate ignition when I do this.

ordered Trailtech vapor gauge today as well. Now just need the extended cables and I should be good for a complete front end overhaul.

BTW, I am having too much fun on this thing. Why didn't I get a bike sooner????

Some goodies came in the mail.


Also received my 650N clutch line. Still need to order extended brake and throttle cables. Also, my MT-03 should be here any day :)

Hmm I guess i'll try that. +3" front brake lines should be fine for renthal streetfighter bars right?
