I'm a good way into my TT600 streetfighter (re)build. Here's progress so far.

So it's taking shape but one thing that bothers me is the front master cylinder is sticking out like a wart. A Bandit master cylinder would be lower profile on the bars and I know they can be used on other bikes however I don't know what's involved but I guess some of you do.

Is it pretty much a direct swap?

Is any particular Bandit version and year preferable?

That period Triumph comes with a 14mm master cylinder, but if you fit a 5/8" master cylinder you'll have a less spongy lever feel, easier to bleed, and better (more modern sharper) lever when braking, with less lever travel.

Therefore I recommend the unit from a Hayabusa.

You 'should' be able to use your existing lever as they are all from Nissin, but do check that it doesn't drag the brake as some models have slightly different clearances at rest.
