Sooooo...got the new WMP exhaust on the bike, and she ran like a champ for a bit, until some rain and cold weather hit and since then it ran like shit! Starting is a bitch on every morning, sometimes takes upwards of 4 tries with the choke. Once its running, it runs smooth, until I go to take off, then it stumbles a bit...pops a few out the exhaust, then goes along...same thing happens after shifting into second gear, kinda like it surges....

I've got a Stage 1 jet kit that I haven't installed yet, kinda hoping it might help, what do you guys think? I don't want to rip apart my carbs again if I don't have to. I had a feeling I'd have issues when I installed the exhaust so this is no surprise.

Could have a plug wire misseated or with a cracked boot that got corroded from the rain. I'd pop those off, inspect them, make sure they don't have white/red crusties on either the plug or the tire, make sure the boots are solid, and then pop them back on and make sure they fit snug.

Any of that would explain why the rain would ruin the bike.

ahhhh that makes sense! I'll check it out tomorrow after work, thanks! It reminded me of the way it ran when it had fouled plugs....but not as bad so it could be a screwed boot! But it poured HARD here for two days straight, so I bet anything water got in to the boots and plugs.
