Started yesterday, it's the most fun I've had working in awhile! Picked up a trusty vt500c for the duty and rode the balls off it. Not bad for some extra p/t cash. LOVE hitting the 1st ave tunnel and making a full ruckus.
Anyone else here doing this kind of work?

True enough, a guy on a citibike attempted to occupy the same space as me at the same time, physics doesn't really work that way.
With cut down dirty bars and no engine guards the little shadow is quite nimble.

Did it for a lot of years in Los Angeles. Its a fun job, see a lot of shit you would normally not have a chance to.

I was lucky I never got hurt doing the job but saw quite a few guys get crippled up, three died.

I drove Carriages in Central Park for a couple Christmas seasons, Be careful, Cabbies and Busses will not give you any space.

When I was doing it it was mostly law and entertainment, we also did a lot for Cuntrywide home loans when they were in the screw you market. I averaged 350 miles a day, 6 days a week, had quite a few 600+ mile days when I would get a run to Vegas or San Francisco.

the problem is you inhale so much fucking horrible shit being on the roads in nyc.

i was a bicycle courier on and off for a few years in dc. just as much traffic, but more trees less buildings, not as bad.

It's a company called Postmates, a few big cities have it. Basically you can be called to deliver anything, though 80% of it is food. I've delivered medicine pretty often, people are usually pretty appreciative of how fast it gets there. Mostly guys have bicycles, there are only 2 other moto guys i know of out there and one is my roommate.
