ok, so im just about done fightering my bike, its an 02 gsxr 600, but i have a problem, my headlight hits my steering dampner, what do you guys do about this? how much difference would it make if i took it off? thanks

I have the same problem
I mounted mine higher and now the light points too far down, but mine is just ziptied :LolLolLolLol:

I didn't want to take my damper off cuz i wheelie at high speeds and just thought that it wasn't a great idia ??????

I don't realy like the way i got it, so if you figure it out let me know please !!

Those stock damper's dont do much if anything anyways.. Get a Scotts or a GPR and take that damn thing off

i agree. get a gpr or scotts damper. im not sure about how much better they are, but theyd solve your problem and look a lot better!

Ehhhh that sucks dude.. See about a center tube style mount like a hyper pro, or ohlins. It'll mount between your upper tripple and your gas tank.

If you got a newer bike you could find something decent like that. They never made a center mounting point for my make and model so I had to make my own like this..

itll be just me stock triple, +5mm tag risers, and tag fat bars

Well hell man if your doin that just get the measurement (how wide) a Scott's or a GPR damper is and put your risers just outside that. As long as your bars will clear the top of the damper..

If you know someone that will let you snag there damper just for measurement.. Bolt the Damper up and make sure it will work..

If it does man you will have a killer setup

If you spend the bucks to get a scotts/gpr, you can get 2" risers and that should help w/clearance.
