I bought a gsxr front end today for swapping on my 1985 zx6a1 has everything but the top tree
The guy I bought it from is not sure what year the front is
I will get some measurements posted in the morning but if anyone might be able to tell from the picture let me know

I measured the top tree area and it is 49mm
I need to find someone who can swap my stem on the bottom tree so hopefully I get it seated on the bike soon

srad and first gen k series 750 forks should have a 50mm top

Is there anyway to find out the exact top tree for these maybe part number somewhere?

I have found a 96-99 750 top tree but do not want to buy it if it is the wrong one.
It is cheap enough to buy but I do not really have money to be throwing around.

I have the top ones so 96-99 whoop whoop now I can get the top and get this bike finished
The gsxr bottom is about 1mm bigger than my stock stem and the top is 24mm and stock stem is 17 at the top

Do you guys know anyone who can modify my stock stem to fit either in socal or online?

Almost any small local machine shop will do that. I don't personally know of anyone in SoCal, but I would imagine there are a few shops around you that you never even knew about.
