Go to Lowes or Home Depot and get a 50watt Spot bulb (key word being SPOT) the spot 50watt bulbs give you a bit more projection and they are only like $6. I have the Diamond on my 250 and thats what I did. Still hate riding at night with it though.

Those would work alright. But the trouble with LED lighting is that its hard to focus, thats why you don't have every single car out there with LED lights. They're really bright, so you could BE seen easily, but its a wide angle beam (as it says on the ebay site) and there are absolutly no reflectors around the LED's on that bulb to direct the light forward like you need for your purposes. You'd be better off strapping a couple LED flashlights to the front of your bike, because even those have some reflectors to direct light.

Its your call, they could work well, and honestly if I were in your shoes I'd buy one just to try it, but I wouldn't bank all my $ on it. If they do work well let me know I might have to pic up a pair.

no doubt I feel ya bro, the diamond chromy kinda works as a reflector, I got a 50 w flood and a 50w spot in it now and it works fine for me. The only thing is that it puts off a dirty looking light. Im thinking all I really need is the white light and it should suite me fine. Ill try out a pair in different combos like two flood and two spot and so on and let you know how it works. They have smaller leds that are sit back into the reflector. Maybe ill try those also

Stuck in traffic one day and I smelt something burning....Pulled over and noticed that the lens had a white spot on it...It blistered and the backing that holds the bulbs in had started to melt.
