Acting like a tool wont get you help. This section is for specific bike problems that require troubleshooting. A headlight mask could apply to any bike, and would better fit the general section. Admittedly, I one of the bigger correct section nazi's on the forum, so that's just an fyi, no big deal.

Wow.

If you want a sub-$200 prebuilt mask headlight, you're going to get shit. All the Acerbis lights and knockoffs are awful. If you don't ever ride at night, go with an Acerbis.

If you want a sick classic fighter face on your bike, you either have to make one or shell out some cash.

It also helps to have thick skin because there are guys who will insult you for asking questions

ageed haelo, I've been in bed with the flu for 3 days and I'm in a pretty shitty mood. Sorry I jumped on the dude, just irked me that I tried to help him out the first time and he just got petty with me without a thanks man or anything.


Big +1 on the quality thing though, if you're looking to NOT spend $200 or more, making one is DEF the way to go. An easy way to simplify that is to buy a really cheap plastic mask off ebay that you like a duplicate it in good quality, heavy fiberglass.

I have seen some rat bikes with gas masks over the headlight. I think they look pretty cool. Dont know if that would be to your liking, but you would sure be unique!!!!!!!!! They sell black ones at "Cheaper Than Dirt" for under ten bucks!!

For 10 bucks you can throw one on until you make up your mind on your permanent set up. Or it may grow on you and will end up with a unique, cool set up for 10 bucks that will cause conversation every where you go. :rock:
