Yeah.. The Blade project keeps on getting bigger and better but the budget went out the window. The latest find was a wrecked VFR750 donor bike. With some help from Scrapyard and FslFlint, I'm putting a 17x7 rear wheel with the single sided arm from the VFR on my Blade. I also just received my fiberglass tail and got the subframe back from the powder coater. The front end is also comming together but I'm still waiting on some OEM parts. I decided to keep the stock conventional forks since I have a sweet LSL top clamp but I'm rebuilding them with Racetech internals. I also just won a TwoBrothers race header on e-bay and I'm doing a custom GP style can. Other than that, I've just been working on moving the battery under the tank, finishing the wiring, re-jetting the carbs, petcock modification, replacing every bearing and seal, ect.. ect.. you know how shit snowballs... Anyway, I have the final plan in place and I have 90% of the parts to finish it, with a little luck I'll have her finished for our club pig roast on August 18th. I've kinda been keeping this build to myself because I didn't want any outside influence on what I wanted to do. Blades have been done to death, I want to incorporate some of my favorite features into one with my own style. I'm not a fabricator so for some people, it still won't be custom enough but I think you'll like it Superbeast.
