Hi
I’m really happy to be part of your family.
Luckily before we were locked down I became the proud owner of a ZZR 1100 that had not moved for ten years.
So I have plenty to keep me occupied in these unusual times
Just hope I can do it justice

Welcome!

Not an easy base to build a fighter, but it'll be nippy once it's going again!

Take it you're aware of the fun and games when you remove the ram air off these?

Any thoughts on a tail that’s not too difficult
One of the reasons I say not an easy base bike.

The tank isn't going to be easy to change since it fits so tight to the frame. The seat isn't going to be easy to change since it fits so tight to the tank.

That leaves you looking to do something with cutting up your original seat, or panelling the tank flat and starting from scratch.

Anyone seen a good job done on one of these? Maybe some pics to inspire.

Thanks for the tips and the inspiration
And for your time
Not sure I could do anything with the tank so I’ll have a look at seat and tail slashing
Within reason
🙏🏻
